your creative nonfiction, fiction and poetry. Even if you have unfinished manuscripts or developing ideas, we are eager to help you make those necessary next steps towards publication.
What We Are Interested In
As simplistic as it may sound, we are interested in the stories you desire to share with the world whether that is creative nonfiction, fiction or poetry in genres such as memoir, autoethnography, true crime, speculative fiction, mystery, historical fiction, science fiction, young adult, folk tales, children’s literature in the forms of novels, novellas, chapbooks and graphic novels.
What We Are Not Interested In
We are not interested in fantasy, fan fiction, romance, horror, religious, political and erotica. We do not publish, nor do we tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and ableism of any sort.
We are mindful that sometimes writers write some aspects of the human condition blindly and without insider knowledge thus author intent is considered when evaluating manuscripts.
We are not interested in Ai generated work.

We Request All Submissions Follow These General Guidelines:
Font Style: Times New Roman
Font Size: 12
Double-space all Prose
Single-Space all Poems
We welcome cover letters or synopsis of narratives and poetry collections
Author Bio: 500 words max

We prefer .doc and .docx
No previously published works accepted including zines, blogs and social media posts.
Submissions should be submitted in proper manuscript format with your name, email address, and the story’s total word count on the title page. For examples of manuscript format click here
Works under consideration for publication are examined for plagiarism, cultural insensitivity and originality.
We pay for all accepted pieces. We pay upon acceptance, not publication.
Replies average two to three months, and we don’t mind you checking with us about your submissions.
